This reminder follows a report received by the Centre for Adverse Reactions Monitoring (CARM) concerning a three-year-old child who was given chlorphenamine for a lower respiratory tract infection and experienced a serious neurological disorder.
Sedating antihistamines such as Chlorphenamine(Benadryl) is used at night to get urticaria control.
I have suffered from migraines for many years and take Imitrex for them.
High doses may be needed and this will cause sedation.
he can tell 2 days away if the weather is going to dramatically change - and here in texas that happens a lot. once the weather settles down, he's back to normal. you're not alone in this, and nothing - not any medication on the market, rx or otherwise, puts a dent in his reaction. Both meds are relatively sedating so you may want to consider a non-drowsiness antihistamine during the day such as Fexofenadine (Allegra).
The Imitrex works well for me and it is totally non-addicting. for you but just wanted to welcome you and to encourage you to keep posting.
Of course I still get my fioricet prescriptions but not for the headache pain. But - having cut by 50% since Sunday and seeing that I feel OK (not great) on half the amount - and this is Tuesday - I thought this might be a bit easier than c/t - and I am able to work and look after the kids.

Is there a list that shows the "best places to live for asthma suffers"? These are non-allergic hives, brought on by heat, water, sweating, etc.If that suppresses the itch, you may want to stay on it, much as those with allergic noses do. I was just saying when I had the migraine that I hadn't noticed the smell for a couple of months. Valererian kept me up all night so if it worsened things for you as well that must not be uncommon.
